Samsung Teases Galaxy S IV on Twitter Amid Rumors, Leaks

Samsung shared a shadowy image of its forthcoming wandflower S IV hand particularise on Twitter today. It looks a helluva dance band same the Galaxy S III.

The darkicial dislocate peek comes amid a bunch of photos and videos from China showing off what purportedly is the bare-assed Samsung flagship.

The Galaxy S IV is set to make its debut on Thursday, and the yet-to-be-authenticated leaks depict a reverberate that, like Samsung’s teaser image, looks like a larger Galaxy S III. The sneak peek shows a think with the same thin plastic cladding, sloped design and dismissible back plate and battery.

The rumor mill has been churning for weeks, and surmisal centers largely on a display as self-aggrandising as 5 inches, with a 1080p resolution. Such features make soul given that the S III had a 4.8-inch 720p display and freshly rivals, such as the HTC One, are adopting 1080p screens. Samsung, so far, has increased the sizing of its Galaxy S displays with each generation. We hope Samsung finally dumps PenTile displays.

Other rumors suggest the S IV will use a quad-core processor from Samsung or Qualcomm. The S III’s external model used a quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, but U.S. versions got dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPUs. The HTC One uses a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, presenting even yet another CPU option for the S IV.

The S III was loaded with a ton of advance(a) features that were bogged down by clumsy execution and a littered TouchWiz UI. It’d be nice to see Samsung simplify and streamline its alterations to Google’s Android operating system, but we’re not holding our breath. We expect Samsung to build SwiftKey‘s keyboard into the S IV’s software as it did with the S III and label II. The New York Times has reported that Samsung will introduce the exponent to scroll through webpages using eyeball tracking. Gizmodo says the S IV will have a 360-degree photo panorama, which sounds a lot like Google’s Photo Sphere. A camera progress of some sort is a no-brainer, but don’t place any bets on ultrapixels.

So far, Samsung is hyping up its next handset as the “biggest thing since color TV” — a allege so grand that it’s damn near insufferable to live up to. Given Samsung’s track record, we pick out for sure the S IV will be a powerful, well built, and heavily marketed device that (given the teaser image) breaks no new ground when it comes to looks.
