Florida Gulf Coast's Andy Enfield will be the wise coach of the University of Southern California Trojans, the school announced Monday night.
Enfield and his "Dunk city" style of offense drew national attention as he led the Eagles, a No. 15 reservoir in the NCAA tournament, to the Sweet 16 with upsets of No. 2 reservoir Georgetown and No. 7 seed San Diego State. Over the weekend, the coach was reported to have drawn interest from USC.

The school made it ex officio on its athletic de single-valued functionment's Twitter account:

In a statement, Enfield said:
"My family and I are thrilled to join the Trojan Family and be part of the unparalleled athletic tradition at USC ... In collision with Pat Haden, I was very impressed with his vision for the men's basketball program. I am looking forward to take an exciting, up-tempo style of play to USC and building the men's basketball soft touch into one that the fans and basketball community will enjoy and respect."
Enfield has a career coaching record of 41-28 in two seasons at FGCU. He takes over a Trojans squad that went 14-18 and 9-9 in the Pac-12 this ult season. The school fired previous coach Kevin O'Neill in January.
